Its generally in soft powder that most joint injuries occur. Soft snow is very un-yeilding particularly when your strapped into 150cm of snowboard. As well when boarding joints are cold making them particularly vulnerable to injury. The 2.5mm "super stretch" neoprene will keep your joints warm and functioning at their optimum no matter how cold it gets - all with zero restriction to movement.
