|
|
This is definitely the most common question we get asked and there is detailed info on the website relating to each specific product. It's really not hard and most people never have any problems. The size charts have specific categories for men, women and childrens sizing for all clothing related products. Here is a link directly to the size charts for base layer and clothing style products (ie, Crossfire shorts, Bomb pants, Atomic Tops etc):
http://planetaltitude.com/size_chart.html
...if you're still having problems let us know and an administrator will try to help you as best they can. (but be aware they'll generally just consult the Planet Altitude size chart).
Remember if you wear a wetsuit its easy - our sizing follows wetsuit sizing so if your a Medium in a wetsuit you'll be a Medium in our products (I know - no help if you've never worn a wetsuit in your life!)
The products are not designed to be skin tight although every aspect of the products is designed to stretch like hell so if it is a bit tight you won't even notice. For instance I can just as easily wear Medium or Large Crossfire shorts and feel no real difference.
Don't forget if you do order the wrong size just return the unused product to us and we will replace it at no further cost to you.[/url] |

I'm in the process of getting my fitness up and losing some weight in preparation for my first snowboarding holiday.
As a result, I'm kinda a little unusual sized. According to your chart, I'm anything from a Mens XS to a Mens L.
Neck 14.17"
Chest 37"
Waist 42.9"
Hips 38"
Height 5'5"
Inseam 27"
Weight 181lb (however I'm expecting to get down to at least 165lb before I go in mid-March)
Honestly, I'm not really sure what size to get in the Men's Bomb Top and Pants. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
(And no, I don't know what size wetsuit I would have) |

Hey "thescream"
Thanks for your enquiry. I'm focusing more on the hips and waist measurements and thinking you're probably an XL. (Sounds like you might be an XL now but when you shed a few pounds for your trip maybe an L?)
Remember the fabric is super stretchy and in your case the "around" measurements (waist, hips etc) are more important than the "length" (inseam, height etc)
...of course if you need some more help as we get closer to your trip just let me know.
Good luck with the training my friend. Keeping fit is the best thing you'll ever do and one of the best ways to prevent injury snowboarding (apart from wearing Planet Altitude Gear of course (if you need some fitness tips check out our friends at http://www.safesnowboarding.com ) |

Thanks,

| Hard to say. What I recommend for people who are extra tall or short is to go with a pair of Crossfire Padded Shorts and a pair of KneeCap Knee Pads. That way you can position the knees where you need but still have the same level of protection as the Bomb Pant (...its less expensive too) |
