How come does the atomic bomb top doesn't have a rib protection, i beleive it's very important.

2 weeks ago i felt on my rib cage, and it relly hurt!!!

Thanks for your question and I'm sorry to take so long to reply but I've been snowboarding in Japan for the last month and have just gotten back! Anyway to answer your question we have experimented with rib protection and the main reason we don't have it is comfort. We pride ourselves on the fact that our gear is the most comfortable snowboard protection on the market and we have worked hard to achieve maximum protection to the most critcal areas in combination with the fact that you don't even know you are wearing it. We just found padding around the ribs to be too bulky and uncomfortable given the amount you would actually need rib protection. I agree though that its an important area and we may even look at a removable rib pad at some stage in the future so thanks heaps for your feedback...I'd be interested if anyone else has any opinions on this matter too?
